Ugo Pagano is an Emeritus Professor at the University of Siena and a Fellow of Pembroke College at the University of Cambridge. His research interests span institutional and evolutionary economics, law and economics, varieties of capitalism, innovation and intellectual property rights, bio-economics, and the economics of nationalism and globalization. He continues to play a key role in fostering a dynamic research community where graduate students are encouraged to pursue independent inquiry within a collaborative academic environment.
