Climate Change: Current Situation, Risks, Adaptation and Mitigation Strategies

 

On Tuesday, 15 April at 4:00 PM, in Room 8 of the San Francesco Teaching Complex (Piazza San Francesco – Siena), meteorologist and climatologist Giulio Betti (National Research Council of Italy – CNR, and LaMMA Consortium) will give a seminar titled:


“Climate Change: The Current Situation, Risks, and Adaptation and Mitigation Strategies.”

 

The seminar is organized within the framework of the Master’s Degree Programme in Economics for the Environment and Sustainability, but is open to the entire university community and to anyone interested.

 

Alongside his research activities, Giulio Betti is also active in science communication. In this context, in 2024 he published the book:


“It’s Always Been Hot! And Other Convenient Lies About Climate Change” (Aboca).
