Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Siena, Italy, and Research Fellow at the same institution. Member of the Macroeconomia Estruturalista Research Group at the University of Brasilia, Brazil. Holds a MSc. degree in Economics from the Centre for Development and Regional Planning, Federal University of Minas Gerais, Brazil, and a BSc. in Economics from the University of Brasilia. Research interests include non-linear macrodynamics, structural change, growth theory, income distribution, innovation, and financialisation.
